A Day -- of Weatheri think it was just that one day -- i cannot remember the weather
it was a day i would never forget -- it was probably sunshine and hot

it was the day, when i lost my faith in you -- it was summer after all
when my heart was destroyed, i sat there and heard -- mid summer, to be precise

that, in my time of agony, my time of destruction -- the winter was yet to come
you were too busy, to answer my call, too much to do -- leaves about to fall

i stood alone again, not sure of what to do -- there was chance of rain
and my heart broke...slowly as I hung up the call -- clouds dark

if only I knew the troubles to come - tear drops started like rai

For two years

That it was cancer
I was told
Two years ago
She has watched me
Grow and learn
Been there
Understood
Happy to see me
Rarely complaining
A smile on her face
And happiness
We tried surgery
Finally in the end
We tried no more
And let her die

She has been my companion

Just been there

her mum not understanding, the sister she must protect, silent
hiding, waiting, running away, she huddled closer to her pen

-- trapped with him, his face will distort your memories -- Am I making you uncomfortable?

Truth in Her SmileShe smiled at you, as she held out her hand -- What is this about?
She said she cared, stepping forward -- I am suspicious

She made a dish for you, with a heart on it -- Is something wrong?
She said, so quietly, she would cook dinner -- Would it be poison?

Finally, she said in not so many words, I love you -- Does she really?
Making her smile, reach her eyes for truth -- This is shocking.

It was then, that you disappeared, quietly -- I must run
Dismissing love, because you did not have it -- Inside of you.

He Made Me SmileHe was like a large teddy bear, all wrapped up in Christmas paper for you. Just when you thought no one cared in the world – there he appeared bounding happy and caring, a gentleman to you.

And he sat there and said such wonderful things - how smart you were and "hey look at this" and you could almost guess what his family makeup was. He had a brother for sure, but no sisters. You could tell by his confidence and his smile that it was internally happy. Just everything about him was happiness and deep caring. And you deeply cared back.

You could get lost in his ways – how he worried about you and cared for you and wanted to be there for yo

A Circle before JailWriting about the fairy circle is hard, she thought
It was an old tradition, passed down and down -- don't you have one?

She would stand in the middle of her room
All painted in yellow, wearing a pretty dress, pigtales

Taking the dust from the bottle -- purple to be precise
May, I excuse you sir -- it had to be purple

-- special teddy bear -- am I reminding you?

She disappeared into her world of safety, her world of delight
Doing a fairy dust circle, sprinkling her childhood memory

-- Is was but years later

She remembered why, why the fairy dust circle was there

A Leased SoulIt's the sadness that surrounds him
And you look and stare at the scene
Trying to capture what is happening
The loss, the hate, the scream

Stuck alone in his house
Rain pouring down outside
He howls to the moonlight
Fear is just catching his pride

Lost as tears come
He makes an effort to leave
He cannot reach the doors' handle
The scare has left him to his knees

The hours past slowly
The rain beats outside still
Grasping onto the door
He catches the winds' brutal chill

And slowly as he walks
To their favourite wooden bench
The rain there piercing through
The garbage, the rotten stench

And he sits there with her cane

It No Longer Rhymes...Let's change things around slowly, see what happens

You kept the rhyme going so interestingly

So now one month later we change the style
We have cried some tears -- but over other things

The rhythm is gone, the tears, the shakes
As I take another glass of water tonight

My life is but a pulse, a scan if you may
And I take a breath to ease the scene

I see a heart lying side by side
As I move into it -- a little deeper

Let's see, a month ago
I had hope, I had love

Not love -- the hope of it

Who I am -- is not for your amusement

I am not your amusement child, for when you are stressed or weary of the world
I do not look sexy or cute, do not entice anything out of me, with your sexual connotations

I am but a child, sitting there watching tv
Learning about the world, all of such eight, staring out the window

Not yet grown, not understanding that there is evil out there
And evil there laying on the couch -- watching me -- waiting, planning

For when the house is empty, ready to pray on me
Decisive, practiced, many a girl before me, and many after me

So I wonder, what went through in your mind, when you decided to violate my body
When you decided, what my life should be.

Was it that you were stressed, like you told me so many years later, when I grew up
Or was it just that you were a man -- weak, useless and cruel
